Dandelions and Spider Webs…

One morning this week, I sat on the porch as the sun came up, drinking my coffee and listening in awe as the birds began their morning songs. As the sun glistened across the dew dropped blades of grass, this is what I saw…

I thought about Easter, and renewal, and rebirth…and that God, who orchestrates each spider web, from dandelion to dandelion…loves me.  That creation, from the most intricate spider web to” you and me”, is from the hand of God.

Psalms 8:3-5

3When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? 5You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.” (8:3-5)

I wish you the most blessed Easter, that you know just how much Christ gave for you, that you are forgiven.  That you are His perfect child, and that He cares and knows every part of your life.

About 49andcounting

Hi! I'm a mom, wife, grammy, sister, friend at that ALMOST 50 age!! (Okay, since I started this a few years ago...well, add a bit to 49andcounting!) How the heck did I get here so fast?!? I love, love, love- my girls, antiques, rural America, history, Jesus, junkin, the lake and my Big Boy...not particularly in that order. It's about time I change this profile a bit. After a year or living in our 5th wheel in beautiful Pennsylvania, My Big Boy and I are back to the Kansas Prairies. And there's just nothing like "Home Sweet Home". Hitting the Big 50 has its own unique, well...let's say...blessings :) So come along, laugh with me...cry with me...praise God with me...and let's do this 49andcounting thing, together!
