All I Can Do Is My Best…

My heart is heavy today.

I pray for a family that feel the walls crumbling around them, all they have worked towards for years is in question. In these times of economic instability even those who have worked hard are at risk of losing it all.

I pray for a friend whose family relationships have unraveled. She thought they never would. She thought that her babies would always be her babies. But they’ve grown up, and are making their own decisions.

I pray for one with a marriage that is difficult. I pray that she not give up who she is, or who God wants her to be. I pray that through difficulty she will grow closer to Him.

I pray for my single friend. That she can see past the loneliness, and grab hold of all the opportunities God has for her. And that God would bring her a soul mate.

In all these prayers, it comes to me….”All I Can Do Is My Best”.
My hope is that each person will feel that and know….

God will do the rest.

About 49andcounting

Hi! I'm a mom, wife, grammy, sister, friend at that ALMOST 50 age!! (Okay, since I started this a few years ago...well, add a bit to 49andcounting!) How the heck did I get here so fast?!? I love, love, love- my girls, antiques, rural America, history, Jesus, junkin, the lake and my Big Boy...not particularly in that order. It's about time I change this profile a bit. After a year or living in our 5th wheel in beautiful Pennsylvania, My Big Boy and I are back to the Kansas Prairies. And there's just nothing like "Home Sweet Home". Hitting the Big 50 has its own unique, well...let's say...blessings :) So come along, laugh with me...cry with me...praise God with me...and let's do this 49andcounting thing, together!

A good reminder that there is always someone who’s heart is heavier than ours and a little understanding goes a long long way.
