49 and Time…

I love, love, love springing forward.  But falling back…not so much!  First of all, it’s 6:20 pm, has been dark for an hour, and I’m thinking about bed!  Boy is it going to be a long winter.

To top it all off, my Facebook friend from Phoenix, AZ, says that they have no time change!  What in the world?  Who makes the time change rules?  I didn’t know we had a choice.  I thought the rules were like biblical or something!

At 49andcounting I just don’t feel that I need this upset in my schedule.  Lord knows, I already wake up at the crack of dawn, now it’s 4:30 am.  That’s a bit too early!   And dark at 5:00 pm??  This old body says, “dark…go to bed”.

When it all comes down to it, I’m just wondering, “who do I contact to see about changing this?”  If Arizona can do it…I think we all should, don’t you?  And fyi…I made it til 10:00 pm, thanks to those Atlanta Housewives!

About 49andcounting

Hi! I'm a mom, wife, grammy, sister, friend at that ALMOST 50 age!! (Okay, since I started this a few years ago...well, add a bit to 49andcounting!) How the heck did I get here so fast?!? I love, love, love- my girls, antiques, rural America, history, Jesus, junkin, the lake and my Big Boy...not particularly in that order. It's about time I change this profile a bit. After a year or living in our 5th wheel in beautiful Pennsylvania, My Big Boy and I are back to the Kansas Prairies. And there's just nothing like "Home Sweet Home". Hitting the Big 50 has its own unique, well...let's say...blessings :) So come along, laugh with me...cry with me...praise God with me...and let's do this 49andcounting thing, together!

I like “Falling Back”… it’s like time travel. I get to live one hour over again. But usually I sleep through it.

Most of Indiana doesn’t observe DST either. I hear you. This annual fall time change messes with me big time!
