This morning is a glimpse of fall. And although I love hot, hot summer…boating, and camping, bbq’s and DQ ice cream, I absolutely love fall.
My favorite attire in the whole wide world is a sweatshirt and jean shorts. Give me an autumn day…kinda cool and crisp, might have to wear a jacket in the evening..and I am in a state of bliss. Pumpkins and mums, Indian corn and gourds. Oranges and golds, yellows and purples! Leaves turning, back road drives, festivals and flea markets… yes, fall is my season.
I have a surprise for you. A clue is in the new “header”. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, and this fall…we are gonna have some fun together!
This morning as I glimpse autumn, I am so thankful that God promises us seasons. At 49andcounting, I am in a different season of life…and I believe it’s fall…what a wonderful season to be in!
Genesis 8:22. …”While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest (seasons) and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
I look forward to your Fall blogs. We are headed to WA DC, PA, NY, MA, VA and all over the place on Oct 1 to see our nations history and the fall colors. We were going to travel to Canonsburg 1 day, but our long-time friend decided to meet us in Gettysburg instead. I can’t wait!
Thanks Susan. Wow, sounds like a great trip. Canonsburg is so close! Fiddlesticks! But make sure to start your Gettysburg trip with a “tour bus” of the Battlefield. Was so informative and just brought it all together. I’m excited for the fall colors also…now that I think about it…just everything about fall!! Hope your trip is awesome!
