*Mighty mouse has met his demise…and all it took was an old-fashioned mouse trap and peanut butter. I am now the proud owner of $30 worth of new-fangled mouse traps that don’t work!
*Birds apparently don’t like bling…not one bird at my beautiful feeder. Today I’m conducting an experiment, I’ve removed all the dangling crystals. Darn birds!
*Cows in Pennsylvania. Here’s the deal, all the landscape around here is steep and hilly. I look at those cattle scattered on hillsides, and think, “boy, those KS cows have it easy.” If you’re raising cattle out here to gain weight, it ain’t gonna happen. You should see what they have to traverse daily!
*Which brings me to lawn mowing. I swear I’m going to write a blog on it with photos. These people in PA have got to have some great calves (those in the leg, not to be confused with aforementioned cattle!) I can’t even fathom mowing these lawns, push or rider. It looks just downright scary!
*Yesterday, thunderstorms. Beautiful rumbling thunder. Out here in Pennsylvania the thunder rolls, and rolls, and rolls. Did I mention rain? This morning my bird sanctuary looks something like this…
I’ll be moving soon, sure glad my home is on wheels!
