A Love Letter to My Girls…

When I am far away…

When you laugh, I will be laughing with you
When you cry, I will feel and wipe your tear
When you accomplish much, my heart will swell with pride
When you wait patiently, I will pray for your peace
When you fight a hard battle, I will believe in your strength
When you feel discouraged and defeated, I will lift you up
When you follow through with compassion, I will smile and know your heart
When you don’t know the answers, I will petition God in prayer
When your heart is swept with unconditional love, I will remember loving you
When you’re overwhelmed, I will be carrying your load
When you’re frightened, I will pray for calm
When you doubt, I will always know you are God’s special child
When you’re happy, I will be happy also.

I am never too far away, I will never leave you alone. No matter how far, no matter how long, I will always be with you. Know that I am smiling, know that I am weeping, know that I am praying.

Hi! I'm a mom, wife, grammy, sister, friend at that ALMOST 50 age!! (Okay, since I started this a few years ago...well, add a bit to 49andcounting!) How the heck did I get here so fast?!? I love, love, love- my girls, antiques, rural America, history, Jesus, junkin,the lake and my Big Boy...not particularly in that order. It's about time I change this profile a bit. After a year or living in our 5th wheel in beautiful Pennsylvania, My Big Boy and I are back to the Kansas Prairies. And there's just nothing like "Home Sweet Home". Hitting the Big 50 has its own unique, well...let's say...blessings :) So come along, laugh with me...cry with me...praise God with me...and let's do this 49andcounting thing, together!

amazing~how I wish that I could write like you do…..you say all of the things that I too feel and I would guess that many or most mothers do……absolutely wonderful. a treasure for your sweet girls. Love you, Rob
