This blogging thing is way out of my computer comfort zone.
I know how to think, I know how to type. The end.
How is it that there are thousands, probably tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people out there with the cutest little web pages and blogs, and I can’t seem to figure out how to get the nice little tabs across the top of my page?
I think there should be a book published (or maybe e-book if I’m really staying in the loop) that is titled “Computer for Grammy’s”…I’m talking one level down from “Computer for Dummies”. I want pics, like the food on Pioneer Woman’s web page, one step at a time.
I am a Baby Boomer, we did not grow up with a computer in hand. And most of us realize that our grandchildren know more about computers than we do. So those basic little words…tags, posts, categories, links, pages…can be very confusing to this Grammy.
I swear “drag and drop” is something I do at night when putting my fanny to bed! “Import and export” has something to do with goods coming in and out of our country…don’t they? “Tweet”…is suppose to be the sound a bird makes, for goodness sakes!
I confess, I’m totally lost in all of it. So if my little blog is plain and simple. Well, that’s what you’re gonna get. (although I really really would like it to be a bit nicer!) No fancy shmancy here (unless someone gets smart and publishes that e-book with pictures or my four-year old granddaughter explains it to me!)
Thanks for clicking and reading. Your comments, here and on Facebook, make my heart smile 🙂 Blessings.
Oh Michaela! I laughed out loud to your “drag and drop” comment and the others! I love reading your blog!! 🙂
Thanks Brenda…if you think of anyone who would enjoy reading, please share it with them:)
