I picked up the brochures yesterday. It’s 12 degrees in Pennsylvania. And I told my husband, “Happy 50th Birthday To Me”. Jamaica, St. Lucia, Bahamas, Antigua…someplace warm and beautiful. With blue skys, white sand, and crystal clear water. That’s the plan. Now to choose.
Funny thing, as I browse the brochures. All I see is 20something girls in white bikinis! Hunks of young men, with abs, and suntans. Where’s the brochure for salt & pepper gray hair and the middle age buldge? I don’t know if we fit the part, private cabanas on the beach, candlelit dinners, spa treatments…but I believe it’s worth a try!
I may be 49andcounting, but I’m not dead! And the plan is, sun, surf, sand, and possibly a tiny white….one piece. (it won’t be tiny) Do you have any suggestions for where we should go?

After reading this I will have that dang song Beach Boys song about Cocomo in my head instead of Christmas tunes! Who cares who cares what the others look like. You ranked high on the Medicine Lodge”Hot” scale and that is all that matters! Wow then in your tankini!
So excited for you… but it’s not going to be your 50th for a while… wow just checked and it’s going to be your 50th! First recommendation is the Medicine Lodge Swimming Pool – but that used to be in your backyard… Second is Cancun. Vicky’s boss has been everywhere and he says you can’t beat Cancun. We have only been to Cancun and Cabo San Lucas (Baja)… and both are very nice. Guess you have to be careful these days in Mexico.
